Are you unsure about what you want to do with your degree?

The LCS and Your Future Ambitions Series aims to give students insight into the many different career paths that they can follow after studying in the school of languages, cultures, and societies.

Our alumni have pursued exciting career paths in sectors such as Law, Civil Service, Translation & Interpreting, Marketing, Journalism, Higher Education, Fashion, technology and many more.

At this event, UoL Lecturer Caroline Campbell will launch the series with a talk about what LCS graduates go on to do, which will give you an idea about what you can do with your degree.

We will also be hearing from:

BBC Broadcast Journalist, Nabihah Parkar

University of Law Student Recruitment Manager, Stephanie Amor

Europol Senior Specialist, Ben Waites

IBM Sales Support, James Winters

These language graduates will talk about their journey from studying at university to the careers that they have today. This will be incredibly useful to all students in LCS (of all levels) to see how your degree is employable, and give you ideas about what sectors it could lead you into.

The event will be in the form of a panel and will include time for asking questions and networking. There will also be complimentary tea, coffee, and cakes.
