The Student Language Bureau is a recruitment agency offering internships in a range of roles from different employers:
Language Assistants to teach in French Private Schools: the employer is a language school based in Paris. They provide English instruction to people of all ages, primarily young students, but also working professionals. They are offering a variety of internships in the province of Île-de-France, Paris. Interns will teach classes in English (e.g. Art, Sciences, Sports). Interns will carry out a variety of tasks including:
- Leading 24H of weekly classes in English for children ages 3 to 11 years old (maternelle and primaire schools). Classes will be co-lead with another English language teacher
- Utilizing and putting in place lessons created by the employer (lesson plans, teacher training and materials are provided)
- Interacting and representing the employer within the context of the private school
- Helping in supervision of students during non-class hours (canteen, playground time)
Linguist (data management and project management): The employer optimises the translation process for finance professionals. Under the guidance of their Natural Learning Processing Engineers, interns will be involved in:
- The development of machine translation engines.
- The entire production chain of a machine translation engine.
- The support of project management and qualitative reviews.
Sales Development Representative Intern: The intern will carry out a variety of tasks including:
- Quickly identify and effectively approach high-potential companies, targeted from our sales strategy or found among the tens of thousands of dynamic UK-based companies
- Conduct prospecting calls in power mode: e.g. -/+ 50 calls/day and be able to integrate clear notes and feedback into CRM.
- Develop and fuel a high velocity pipeline of leads and prospects.
