LCS have strong ties with the company, with 4 students on placement with them this year, 5 students in 2018-19 and students in previous years. One of our students was on placement there in 2016-17 and now works there as a graduate.
LKW Walter currently have many vacancies for the role of Transport Management Trainee across their offices in Vienna and Kufstein/Tyrol.
These vacancies are ideal for both Term and Year Abroad German placement students!
In your role, you will:
- Act as an interface between customers from industry and trade and the company’s transport partners
- Organise and manage international transports (road transports and Combined Transport)
- Be solely responsible for carrying out purchasing and sales negotiations
- Be the contact partner for renowned global players
- Analyse and optimise their international flow of goods
- Independently analyse the results with the company’s management information system
The company language is German.
Working hours:
40h/week
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
