Exciting Year Abroad Placement for German Students – 1100€ per month
Framatome GmbH, Germany, is offering a work placement to German language students for the year 2019-20. The duration of the placement ranges from 9 months to one year, with preference being given to candidates applying for a one year placement. The starting date can be flexible, and you will be able to negotiate to start as early as 8th July (earliest date that you can start a Year Abroad Work Placement).
Background
Framatome GmbH is a world leader in the field of nuclear power plant construction and servicing. The placement is within the engineering and project management divisions of Framatome GmbH. The placement with Framatome GmbH will be based in Erlangen, a university town approximately 20km north of Nuremberg. The placement offers a very generous 1100€ per month salary.
Tasks
- Work closely with project manager, completing tasks to support them
- Project management development
- Proof-reading
- Technical translation
- Provide English lessons to members of the department (one-to-one basis).
- General office activities
Requirements
1. Studying a language degree course with German as a main component.
2. Year abroad must be a compulsory part of course of study.
3. Good written and spoken English.
4. Competent German language skills.
5. Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Basic business knowledge is not compulsory but would be desirable.
7. Previous office experience is not compulsory but would also be desirable.
