2019-20 Translation Internships for French & German speaking students

Intercontact Translations are a translation company based in Krefeld, Germany near Düsseldorf and Cologne.
Currently, they are offering two paid internships that would be perfect for students who can speak both French and German and are looking for a Year Abroad work placement.

Tasks within the role:

-Translation of German texts in the fields of fashion, zoology, advertising, marketing and industry into English or French
-Proofreading English or French texts that have already been translated
-Working with translation memories, termbases and online tools

Requirement profile:

-Excellent knowledge of English or French grammar and spelling
-German as a source language (does not need to be perfect)
-Team spirit
-Secure handling of all Microsoft Office programs
-First experience with SDL Trados Studio would be good

Payment will be agreed individually with the candidates during the application process. The company will be happy to support your search for accommodation, but you must contact/organize your own accommodation.
