Are you reliable, approachable, passionate about your subject and keen to share your enthusiasm with the students of the future?

The Arts Educational Engagement team are currently looking for students in level 1, 2 or 3 to become part of a team of Leeds Loves Ambassadors, who will inform secondary school pupils about studying Arts and Humanities at university.

As a Leeds Loves Ambassador you will visit local secondary schools to give presentations and answer questions about your subject and your experience of studying at university. You may also support university and academic staff on campus events for school pupils and teachers, including experience days for Year 12, public lectures and teacher conferences.

Leeds Loves Ambassadors will be employed on a 1-year, fixed-term contract and will be paid at an hourly rate of £9.38. Work will take place on an ad hoc basis, according to demand from schools, and full training will be provided.
We are recruiting students from the following subject areas:

Design
English
Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies
Theatre and Performance
Languages, Cultures and Societies
History
Classics
Music
Media and Communication
Philosophy, Religious Studies and the History of Science
