Hi everyone, we know that the deadline to find a work placement for the academic year 2020/21 has passed but some of you are still searching to find a placement for your year abroad. We have been able to be more lenient and are still able to accept placement proposals.

Language Connexion is a language School based in Paris, that teaches English to students of all ages. As part of their ‘European Classes’ project, they are looking for a Language Assistant to help give their students a fun experience of learning the English language. You will receive weekly training sessions to help prepare you for the role and a Manager will support you throughout the placement to evaluate your progress. Start/finish dates: From Sept 2020 to April 2021, or Jan 2021 to July 2021.

Responsibilities include:

  • 24 hours a week of teaching English and other subjects such as art, PE and science
  • 11 hours a week of lesson planning and preparation with support from a Language Connexion Pedagogical Manager
  • Supporting staff to supervise students during break and lunchtime
